Present at the conference

While most of our talks and panels already have speakers filling the roles, we would love to have you host a table for your institution or company at our Career and Research Expo on Saturday, January 22 from 9:45-11:00 am PT. Please reach out to cuwip22@ucsc.edu to learn more about the Expo and get involved.

Volunteer to help organize

There are two ways to get involved in the organizing of the conference:

  1. The local organizing committee (LOC) is responsible for planning all of the details of the event and is working on that now. We have many subcommittees for which you may volunteer. The LOC has biweekly meetings, which alternate with subcommittee meetings Wednesdays at 3:30 pm. Please reach out to Katie at khellier@ucsc.edu if you are interested in being involved.

  2. We will need volunteers the week before and for the weekend of the conference to help with last minute details and the intricacies of running a conference, such as helping set up events, directing attendees, manning the registration table, etc. If you are interested in volunteering for this, please fill out this form.
